Environmental / Sustainability Specialist F/M/D - Active Beauty - Your future job?

Reporting to the Active Beauty HSE Manager, you will be responsible for the deployment of Givaudan's Environment / Sustainability strategy at the Active Beauty sites. You will be responsible for the implementation of a communication strategy to engage the teams in the environmental/sustainable development activities of the group.

 

Your main responsibilities :

  • Implement the GIVAUDAN Group's Environmental/Sustainable Development Programmes on the Active Beauty sites (Green Team, PURPOSE...) in collaboration with the site managers and the various departments (Purchasing, Human Resources, Operations, Maintenance...)
  • Ensure that the sites comply with HSE / ICPE / ADR legal requirements. Maintain a regulatory watch and good relations with the administrative authorities (Prefecture, DREAL, Labour Inspectorate, Occupational Medicine, etc.) and stakeholders (Biorefinery stakeholders, Smell Board)
  • Manage the environmental management system (waste, water, effluent, air, etc.) of the Ile Grande and Pomacle sites according to ISO 14001 certification
  • Collect and report the environmental KPI of the Active Beauty sites to the GIVAUDAN Group, to the employees, to the stakeholders (Authorities, DREAL, Biorefinery actors, employees...).
  • Lead the Roadmap and actions with the other Departments (Operations, Maintenance.) in order to achieve the Group's "Sustainability" objectives.
  • Carry out environmental studies in response to requests from the authorities.
  • Train and raise staff awareness of environmental and sustainable development issues (via HSE Contact, HSE Days, Green Team Workshop, etc.)
  • Manage the waste management system and the sorting area, in conjunction with the HSE Coordinator
  • Coordinate and compile data in order to respond to customer requests (questionnaires, life cycle analysis, etc.)
  • Manage certification and control audits (ISO 14001, SMETA/SEDEX, E&Y, etc.)

Your professional profile includes : 

  • 3+ years of experience in environmental / sustainable development / CSR project management in the industry
  • 5 years of higher education - Master's degree or engineering diploma specialising in Environment / Sustainable Development
  • Knowledge in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 26000 standards
  • Fluent English (read, written and spoken)
  • Computer tools: Word, Excel, Power Point
