Production Intern - Your future position?

As the Production Intern , you will perform assigned duties and shadow senior colleagues to gain knowledge and experience in a designated area or function, following the learning plan and company talent needs. You will report to the Production Manager while being based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:

• Assist senior colleagues with production planning, operations, and document control to develop knowledge of the organization and tasks within the training area.
• Participate in Food Safety, Quality, Safety & Health, and Continuous Improvement (CI) programs.
• Perform assigned tasks according to instructions, seeking clarification and guidance as needed.
• Act proactively, suggesting solutions and offering help when required.
• Observe experienced colleagues to learn methods, procedures, and standards required for departmental duties.
• Gain exposure to various Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) programs, including Food Safety, HACCP, auditing processes, pre-requisite programs, product disposition, process control, document control, and substantial project work related to process and efficiency improvement.
• Assist on operations administrative tasks when required.

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor's degree / University student with a background in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotech, or a similar field in Sciences.
• Additional work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A go-getter attitude with a strong eagerness to learn and adapt.
• A curious mindset, unafraid to ask questions.
• Digital savvy with strong computer literacy skills.
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Able to work in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
