Process Technology Manager

Process Technology Manager – Your next position?

As a dynamic Process Technology Manager  you will coordinate small teams or specific Regional Process Technology projects to bring consistency to process technologies along the value chain with the aim to drive internal efficiency and customer satisfaction.Based in Pune you will report to the Operations Head. 


In this position you will:

  • Coordinate manufacturing technological process optimisation and harmonisation across the region.
  • Perform process technology training related to equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to site Industrialisation Specialists to enable shop floor quality and efficiency.
  • Identify (and lead as required) continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support production transfers to meet technological & quality expectation.
  • New Technology development _ Involve from design to the execution of the project by a high-quality product, with all approval process , validation report and standards, with effective process risk assessment . Lead scale up trials as part of the product localization .
  • Formula linearization - Coordinate and execute with FC&A for linearization initiatives .
  • Implement standards – Locally implemented regional and global standards related to product , process design and life cycle management .
  • Integrated solutions – To build on industrialization of integrated solutions into the business . to incorporate Technology shaing, define critical process parameters and optimize based on equipment capability

Your professional profile includes:

  • Degree in  Science/Chemical Engineering with an overall 15 years of experience (5 years of function related exposures)


Technical Skills

  • Good project management skills and utilization of the project management techniques.
  • Good understanding of Givaudan's end-to-end processes incl. IDDC.
  • Experience in Continuous improvement , Lean and Green belt preferred 
  • Good knowledge of Givaudan's manufacturing technologies and product characteristics (such as liquids, spray drying, powder blending, process Flavours, JBC, Emulsions, separations, extractions), relevant to assigned domain of activity.
  • Solid knowledge of Givaudan's main IT systems (such as Atlas, Athena, FPR, SAP, Compliance engine, PII, GSD, RMQ, QDMS, AVAP, ILM) relevant to assigned domain of activity.
  • Basic knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Systems (such as FSSC, AIB, ISO, GMP, GHP, HACCP) that are relevant to assigned domain of activity.
