Application Coordinator - Your next step?
As an Application Coordinator, reporting to the Beverages Application Manager, you will participate in flavour application and provide technical expertise to lead operational excellence and improve client delivery systems, according to our goals and EH&S policies.
Main responsibilities:
Flavour Application
- Execute daily brief-related tasks including flavour selection, product evaluation, and application development.
- Lead evaluations of flavours in food applications for briefs, research projects and portfolio evaluations
- Select flavours for projects according to specified requirements (i.e. customer, regulatory, legislation, cost) and suggest improvements for the most common applications
- Identify appropriate flavour delivery systems and technologies for customer projects in specific applications
Knowledge sharing & expertise
- Be a technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, flavour creation, and customers for specific applications
- Coach, train, and motivate technicians and technologists
Data maintenance
- Maintain the flavour performance data for the flavour portfolio through evaluation in finished product and capture of profiles
Environmental Health & Safety
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment following EH&S policies and hold others accountable for following these guidelines
This is a hybrid position (4 days at office, 1 day remote) at our Jaguaré site.
You?
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- At least 7 years' experience in similar roles.
- Experience working with beverages category.
- Specialization or post-graduate course in related area is preferred.
- Understanding of selected food applications, ingredients, and processes with practical experience in food manufacturing environment
- Experience with flavour reactions/interactions in common food products
- Project management skills.
- Ability to translate market trends into products for selected customers.
- Intermediate Level of English.
