Chromatography Specialist - Your next step?
In this exciting job you'll...
- Perform chromatography analyses for the release of raw materials and finished products, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement local, regional and global chromatographic methods.
- Develop a training program for back-up and new employees in the chromatography area.
- Comply with the actions set out in the Regional/Global Chromatography Schedule.
- Provide technical support to employees in the area and related areas and clients.
- Prepare laboratory documents such as procedures and methods of analysis for the chromatography cell.
- Monitor chromatography indicators;
- Draw up User Requirement Specifications (URS) for equipment.
- Control the qualification, calibration, cleaning, corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Organise and control stocks of materials, reagents and consumables.
- Draw up and review laboratory documents such as procedures and methods of analysis for chromatography cells, guaranteeing good documentation practices.
- Open and investigate analytical deviations to identify the cause using quality tools and CAPAS management.
- Support the Sensory team with technical training for using the chromatography laboratory in the process investigations.
- Support the Physical-Chemical laboratory with the definition of methodologies for the product/technology, taking into account global procedures and guidelines.
This is an 100% On Site position, at our Jaguaré site, reporting to the Quality Control Coordinator.
You?
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food Engineering, and other related fields.
- Desirable specialization or post-graduate degree in a related area.
- 10+ years of proven experience in Chromatography - Liquid, Gas and Mass (HPLC, CG-FID, CG-MS).
- Experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment, scheduling purchases and new acquisitions.
- Advanced Level of English.
- Experience training new employees and back-up
- Solid knowledge of physical-chemical analyses.
- Relevant knowledge in investigation and trend analysis (OOS and OOT) applying quality tools (PDCA, 5 PQ's, Ishikawa) and technical discussion of chromatographic and physical-chemical analyses.
- Active participation in Continuous Improvement Projects.
- Experience with official compendium monographs.
- Experience developing, validating and critically analysing methods.
- Solid knowledge of analytical legislation.
- Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Knowledge of SAP. Experience of Chromeleon software would be a plus;
