Consumer & Sensory Insight Coordinator, your future opportunity?
You will manage sensory projects to provide insights to develop new flavors and taste solutions, according to overall our goals and global marketing strategy.
You'll report to our Consumer Sensory Insights Manager based in Sao Pablo, Brazil.
In this exciting opportunity, you'll:
- Based on project objective and sensory testing needs, develop approaches and collaborate with the team to deliver appropriate results.
- Coordinate sensory projects at locally, regionally or globally under hierarchy management
- Provide relevant/applicable sensory support to marketing, product managers, flavour creation, application and commercial teams
- Communicate sensory results and insights to all partners
- Work with sensory staff to ensure appropriate resources for projects. Provide instruction, management and mentoring
- Ensure implementation of latest methodologies and best practices
- Contribute to the sensory elements of the sensory/CU strategy
- Share experience with relevant teams
- Work together with Consumer Understanding to provide project teams with sensory and consumer insights
- Maintain accurate records of all sensory testing: create and enter information in sensory system
- Design advanced sensory testing protocols
- Conduct relevant statistical analysis, interpret results, write reports and provide results, interpretation and guidance to internal and external customers.
Your professional profile includes:
- Advanced university degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Food engineer or related area experience in industry
- Minimum 2 years technical functional experience in industry or academia
- Relevant industrial experience in project management and in research and product development environment
- Relevant experience applying sensory methodologies including descriptive, discriminative and consumer test.
- Communicates clearly, precisely in written and oral form
- English and Spanish (at least intermediate)
- Relevant experience using statistical approaches and software applied to sensory projects
