Quality Control Team Lead - Your next step?

In this exciting job you'll...

• Maintain the distribution of tasks among laboratory staff.
• Update and control the department's KPIs.
• Perform the department's analytical programming as agreed with the planning and production sectors.
• Set service priorities with internal customers.
• Plan, monitor and guide the execution of routine work in all WCs.
• Ensure that internal controls are carried out.
• Manage QC documents.
• Ensure correct recording of documentation guaranteeing compliance with traceability and GLP.
• Perform and support the revision of methods and specifications for raw materials and finished products finished product.
• Coordinate the adaptation of analysis methodology.
• Support the process of laboratory investigations, ensuring robustness/consistency in the causes and execution of proposed action plans.
• Help prepare the necessary documentation ensuring consistency and implementation of established actions.
• Perform and coordinate preventive and corrective actions for NC's pointed out to the department.
• Identify and propose process improvements following needs.
• Support the team with questions about analytical techniques.

This is an 100% on site position, at our Jaguaré site, reporting to the Quality Control Coordinator.

You?

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food or Chemical Engineering, and other related fields.
• 10+ years of proven experience in Quality Control.
• Specialization or post-graduate course in related area.
• Solid experience in laboratory routines with solid knowledge of physical-chemical and instrumental analysis.
• Experience troubleshooting laboratory methods and practices.
• Knowledge of sensory investigation procedures and trend analysis applying quality tools.
• Experience in critical analysis of analytical results.
• Active participation in Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices.
• Solid knowledge of preparing and maintaining indicators.
• Experience in SAP.
• Knowledge of statistics for data evaluation.
• Intermediate English. Spanish Desirable.
