Purpose

Actively build and manage a best in class Fragrance Gallery in order to win projects from selection every time it’s possible.

 

Core Responsibilities

Gallery Content Management

  • Own & facilitate Pre-validation, Validation, and Revalidation process on a monthly basis and track CFM compliance
  • Own & facilitate Category Gap Analysis – and collaborate with Category Leads in building the most efficient and effective Gallery
  • Maintain and clean Gallery information (olf desc, motive of creation, collection, reservation)       

Gallery KPI Reporting and Analysis

  • Maintain report on monthly Gallery pre-validation/validation/refresh activity with conclusions/observations that identify areas of issue, improvement, under usage, etc.
  • Support the Development management in evaluating the KPI data and supporting the implementation of work programs within this that focus on driving efficiency within the Development organization.

Gallery Power user

  • Train all new Givaudan employees on the Gallery Tool
  • Survey ‘community’ for use and suggestions for continuous improvements for the Gallery Tool
  • Participate in all IT activities to improve or modified current tool

Promotion

  • Devise ways to promote outside of collections – with our Evaluation and Sales team
  • Promote/Support ‘Special’ perfumes or collection
  • Find ways within and across the categories to highlight and share best new themes (CMI or Successes) in the library

Industry & Marketing

  • Anticipate market tastes; work closely with marketing colleagues on proactive concept generation.

 

Academic Background

  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Advanced University degree in related field is a plus.
  • Fluent in English

 

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 2 years´ functional / technical experience in industry
  • Demonstrate:
    • Ability to manage multiple and complex evaluation projects

 

Technical Skills

Evaluation/Application Skills

  • Knowledge of Perfumers' themes and collections.
  • Knowledge of one or more product category and product design principles.
  • Advanced product and technical knowledge (innovations, manufacturing, stability, etc.).

Industry/Market Knowledge

  • Expert knowledge of fragrance products and key customers.
  • Broad knowledge of the market dynamics and olfactory trends
  • Ability to predict market acceptance

Givaudan Systems

  • Ability to apply Fragrance Land, IBIS, Colibri and other systems to effectively follow the Gallery needs and activity
  • Understanding of Givaudan internal processes at local and regional level; acknowledging own responsibilities into broader goals

Project Management

  • Good understanding of Givaudan's brief process and functional interfaces
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Be a team player and work well with different stakeholders
