Job Purpose
The Marketing & Business Development Manager supports the fragrance sales organization by driving market intelligence, customer-focused marketing initiatives, and new business opportunities.
The role acts as a strategic partner to sales, translating market trends and customer insights into actionable commercial strategies. It contributes to marketing project coordination, and also value proposition development to support sustainable sales growth of the organization.
The position also plays a key role to support both consumer products and fine fragrance marketing needs, as well as identifying new customers and growth segments within the fragrance business.
Core Responsibility
1. Marketing Support
- Provide consumer products category insights and market intelligence, including trend analysis and competitive landscape sharing.
- Support KR L&R and KGA/KIA outbound activities by preparing customer-specific materials, value propositions, and commercial support tools.
- Proactively share relevant market and consumer insights with sales teams to support customer engagement and opportunity development.
2. Business Development Support
- Support the identification and development of new business opportunities within the fragrance business.
- Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to support business development initiatives and customer projects.
- Contribute to market analysis and business planning to support sustainable growth.
3. Other Adhoc required upon the cases.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or commercial support within B2B or consumer products industries (fragrance, flavor, or FMCG preferred).
- Strong understanding of market analysis, consumer trends, and commercial strategy support.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and high quality graphic design; ability to prepare clear and structured commercial materials.
- Open to foreign nationals; candidates must be legally eligible to work in Korea.
