Commercial Management Trainee - your future position?

In this exciting Commercial Management Trainee role you will report to Head of Fragrance China & Korea. We offer you the opportunity to start your career in Givaudan by joining our Commercial Management Trainee Programme. The duration of the training programme will be 2 years. The Commercial Management Trainee Programme is established to develop trainees for future leadership positions in important departments such as Sales, Marketing and more. You will be hired in Shanghai, China and have an opportunity of overseas assignments in other countries.

Programme Structure:

• During the 2 year training period, you will be provided with assignments with the objective of building business understanding and encouraging and competencies
• You will need to complete at least 4 assignments (potentially one of these will include an overseas assignment) of 6 months
• When you have completed the 2 year programme, you will continue your career in Givaudan as a Sales/Marketing professional, and apply your learning to our challenging business opportunities

Some of your responsibility will include:

• Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
• Track Account Plans for key accounts
• Develop internal and customer presentations
• Identify/create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in targeted briefs
• Identify customer requirements and follow up on customer submission
• Comply with all appropriate Givaudan and statutory Environmental Health and Safety and regulatory guidelines

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree
• Interest to work in the Fragrance industry
• Previous experience in an international setting
• Mandarin speaking
• Fluent English in both writing and speaking
• Passion for data crunching and analyzing
• Project Management Skills
• Problem and Conflict Solving skills
• Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects with all levels of the business
• Confidence in presenting
