Account Executive

Account Manager, Unilever in Shanghai, China – Your next position?

As the Account Manager – Unilever in our Fragrance & Beauty Division at Givaudan’s Shanghai office, you will be responsible to deliver Profitable Business Growth in one key Category for Unilever North Asia exclude Japan and build and maintain strong relationship with the clients. The role will be based in Shanghai.

In this position you will:

  • Develop Strategic Account Plan with annual sales budget and profitability objectives and business goals for the category in North Asia
  • Planning and driving account activities including defending existing business and attacking new opportunities.
  • Managing the project pipeline, prioritizing resource and anticipating and preparing for future opportunities.
  • Pricing & Gross Profit Margin Management
  • Timely follow up on client’s project and submissions
  • Strategic engagement with the Brand Team and Perfume Manager at the clients end
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide strategic input to clients
  • Increase the value add of the fragrance solutions

 

You?

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree, MBA preferred
  • 5 years’ major account management experience
  • Competence in olfactive skills (ability to define, recognise and memorise olfactive notes and fragrance language terms, and determine olfactive directions)

Demonstrated:

  • Competence in olfactive skills and fluency in fragrance language
  • Ability to work across global teams
  • Experience in managing multiple complex projects
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive Account/Category Plans, communicating plans upwards and downwards in the organisation
  • Ability to work internationally
  • Verbal and written command of English
  • Drive to win, initiative and ability to learn quickly
