EHS Supervisor

EHS Supervisor - Your Future Position?

As a EHS Supervisor in our T&W Division, you will support and assist site management team to minimize EHS risks and promote employee’s awareness by proper risk assessment, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement. In this exciting role you will:

  • Keep site management updated on the latest applicable EHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice, China and corporate standards.
  • Ensure all approved and released EHS directives/ policies/ procedures well respected and implemented by daily observation and periodically inspection& audit throughout site
  • Work closely with managers and line managers to identify critical risks and unsafe behavior list; Assist in the development of site annual EHS objectives, targets, projects and plans based on risk assessment
  • Actively support and coach departments on EHS standards and participate in the implementation of our EHS culture and strategy.
  • Participate in incident investigations; validate all identified root causes and correctives actions.
  • Organize and take charge of site safety relevant initiatives, including fire safety, process safety, PSSR, MOC, contractor safety management, PTW, etc.
  • Maintain the safety relevant license (DG license) and work close with the local authorities for the site inspections and CAPAs follow-ups
  • Communicate with government agencies, prepare and submit the required safety reports and registration forms to reflect those changes properly.
  • Provide the trainings to the employees and the contractors

Your professional profile includes:


  • Bachelor Degree with major in Safety Engineering, Environment Engineering or equivalent;
  • Certified Safety Engineer;
  • 8+ years’ experience in EHS activities supporting an industry/manufacturing site. Chemical industry experience is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of EHS Management System principles;
  • Familiar with laws, regulations, standards and relevant industrial practices;
  • Solid technical background of Process safety, Fire safety, hazardous chemistry, etc.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage time, attention to detail;
  • Able to work under pressure and capacity to handle multiple task at same time and rapidly solve problems with a time limit;
  • Fluent in oral and written English;
  • Good communication skills and team work, self-motivated, disciplined, and flexible to adapt to new situations.
