IT Service Desk Analyst in Shanghai – Your next position?
Do you enjoy knowing you’re helping our company run more smoothly? At our Taste&Wellbeing opera-tions site in Nantong, we define and design IT solutions that support and enhance Givaudan’s work-place. As our IT Service Desk Analyst, it is here that you will be the interface between our business stakeholders and your fellow IT specialists. Leveraging your business processes analysis, an under-standing of the gaps between new solutions and legacy software and knowledge of key user require-ments, you will define the functional adaptations or evolutions needed for our Information Systems. In this role, you will match the needs of our people with company business requirements and you can expect to: 

You?
Technical Support:

  • Involved in Incident, Problem and Service Request Management.
  • Provide physical IMAC support for multiple hardware.
  • Log requestor incidents received by phone, email or other communication channel.
  • Provide workarounds and solutions based on Service Level Objectives.
  • In the case of Problem Management, report/escalate issue to Bundle Manager.
  • Propose or recommend IM&T Services modifications to the Bundle manager to reduce user impact.
  • Participate to IM&T Service testing, deployment and stabilization.
  • Maintain and stays current with evolving Information technology.
  • Contribute in all aspects of Continuous improvement


Communication:

  • Update and acknowledge tickets logged by requesters and communicate about resolution progress. Provide basics end-user training or instruction on workplace services.
  • Ensure satisfactory customer service and prompt response times to the requesters based on ser-vice level objectives.
  • Share support knowledge with peers in the same team and maintain associated documentation.
  • Escalate significant issues or outages to the management.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships, resolve problems, and positively influence oth-ers in order to successfully produce customer satisfaction.

 

User Training:

  • Promote IT collaboration tools to business users.
  • Deliver training to business users

 

Information Security:

  • Ensure security rules implementation as per the policies.
  • Communicate with government agencies, prepare and submit the required environmental, health and safety reports and registration forms to reflect those changes properly.


Your professional profile includes:

  • Required university degree in IT related major.
  • Certification/Training in the assigned area will be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English, minimum CET 4 or above.
  • Minimum 1~2 years of experience in domain of expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems
  • General knowledge of IT infrastructure: Lan, WAN, Windows servers, active directory
  • Good knowledge of informatics hardware (PC, Printer, scanner, smartphones etc.)
  • Basic Knowledge in SAP system (account, print)
  • ITIL qualification is preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge about business processes.
