Account Manager - Your future position?
As an account manager under the Taste & Wellbeing division, you will support the business in a range of responsibilities listed below:
Accounts Management and Maintenance
- Ensure meeting and/or surpass assigned sales target with approved product margin
- Maintains knowledge and awareness of competing products/services/solutions
- Maintains and updated sales funnel and participates in sales meetings
- Maintains data and information relevant to assigned accounts and conduct analyses to influence customer decision making
- Responsible for assessing, clarifying and validating customers' needs on ongoing basis
- Maintains high customer satisfaction and deliver superior customer excellence experiences to your best effort
- Lead and drive distributors to grow and achieve assigned sales target with approved product margin.
Opportunity
- Responsible for the generation of business in the assigned accounts
- Responsible to attain and nature new accounts
- Responsible in the identification and evaluation of business opportunities by keeping an eye out for business best practices, trends, and principals that will keep consumers satisfied and loyal to the business.
Sales strategy and sales plans
- Actively participate in strategic account planning process to develop tactical sales plan that delivers financial targets, performance objectives, accounts management standards and critical milestones over specific periods of time are decided upon with your direct supervisor.
- To implement aligned and agreed sales strategies and sales plan that lead to high consumer satisfaction, hence, building awareness and credibility with the key clients.
Analytics
- To play an analytical role where you prepare detailed proposals/quotes depending on each consumer’s requirements.
- To review target achievement and prepare business reports to review with your direct supervisor which facilitate the creation of informed account management decision-making and strategy formulation.
- To prepare pricing documentation for the business’s products/services and secures appropriate approval from your direct supervisor prior sending commercial proposals to customers
Collaboration
- To work closely with key stakeholders in an effort to meet account performance objectives as well as the key accounts’ expectations through complimentary cross-functional efforts.
- To liaise with you direct supervisor in the creation and determination of sales strategies and sales plans and account management standards.
Other Duties
- You are expected to update in relevant sales systems as instructed: Sales Force, CRM, Atlas and/or any assigned sales system timely
- You are expected to handle related duties as are necessary for the proper management of key accounts and duties assigned to you
Your professional profile includes:
- At least 5 years experience in sales (generating business, initiate and launch processes, articulate value drivers)
- Has experience managing a large scope of customers
- Has B2B experience
- Preferable if you have a background in Food Tech, Chemicals, Nutrition, Pharmacy, or Biosciences.
- Salesforce and CRM system knowledge is a plus
