Category Marketing Associate/Specialist - Your future position? (1 year contract)
Reporting to: Regional Category Manager, Hydration & Refreshments
Location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Regional Category Manager in building a comprehensive understanding of the assigned category's landscape and insights by gathering and synthesizing information from internal and external sources. This includes monitoring new launch activity, exploring market dynamics (research on leading customers' brand portfolio & market penetration), assessing competitive landscapes, gathering trends and consumer insights.
- Provide marketing support on short turnaround regional customer projects with creative mockups consistent with Flavor division branding and positioning.
- Collaborate with local marketing teams to give feedback on key campaigns/projects and coordinate logistic arrangements for new product launches/market samples to be delivered
- Participate in cross-functional innovation project discussions, assist with marketing brainstorming sessions, and ad-hoc assignments
- Partner Gen-AI and social media listening platforms to monitor Flavor transitions in prevalence vs growth momentum and develop simple presentations and concepts related to the latest trends
Main Requirements
- Diploma / University Degree in Business/Marketing/Consumer Market Analytics or similar
- Fresh graduates, or 1 to 2 years marketing work experience in consumer marketing
- Passion and curiosity for food & beverages and/or consumer behaviours
- Understanding of marketing strategy and principles including brand execution, commercialization of new products, and creative promotions/activations
- Able to connect different data sets to build successful marketing value propositions
