We are recruiting for a CFD/Senior CFM Southeast Asia to be part of our Fragrances Consumer Products Evaluation team in Singapore to offer excellent opportunities for both your personal and professional development.

 

Our CFD's/Senior CFM's are olfactive development specialists whose primary goal is to guide Perfumers in the fragrance development process. To do so, they understand the market and the consumer's behaviour and preferences, a strategic view to analyse current olfactive trends, forecast future ones. You will be in charge of the fragrance development process alongside Account Managers (Sales), Perfumers, Marketing, Consumer Market Research, and Laboratory experts.

 

You will report to the Category Director Fabric & Home Care.

 

Your role will include:

 

  • Help define development strategies.

  • Define and lead olfactive vision and strategy of the customer's brands.

  • Lead creation and development process of active and proactive initiatives in all Fabric Care categories.

  • Manage multiple complex briefs and develop or select fragrances according to the given brief guidelines.

  • Define and prioritise fragrances to be tested and coordinate with Consumer Marketing Insights and translate consumer insight results into olfactory guidelines for Perfumers

  • Work with the lab on testing product stability and troubleshooting.

  • Collaborate with other regional creative centres, to complete project assignments.

  • Support engagement of cross-regional project teams when applicable.

  • Collaborate with commercial team to identify/ interpret our category needs and goals.

  • Anticipate market tastes; collaborate with marketing colleagues on proactive concept generation.

  • Contribute in olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative development.

  • Work together with marketing teams to identify olfactive and conceptual white space opportunities.

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • University degree in any field of study

  • At least 15 years' fragrance evaluation experience in Fabric Care category across different geographical areas and working in a multicultural environment ( other category experience like Fine Fragrance, Personal Care, or Home Care is welcomed ).

  • Fragrance creation skills for specific category and client and an ability in managing and succeeding in Key Global Projects.

  • Expert olfactory skills and mastery of core Fragrance Development responsibilities paired with an innovative mindset.

  • In-depth knowledge and track record experience in evaluation, in Fabric category.

  • In-depth Consumer understanding that allow you to translate Consumer Insights into olfactory guidelines for Perfumers.

  • Contribute to the olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative development.

  • Knowledge of key brands and customers in Fabric Care on a global basis.

  • Product and technical knowledge that allows you to approach specific technical aspects of the Category (fragrance stability and behaviour in several Fabric bases and formats, norm compliance, encapsulation technologies and optimal fragrance system pairing free and encapsulated oils).

  • Ensure efficient and autonomous execution of projects with a focus on superiority in Consumer's satisfaction, customer intimacy, and speed of response thanks to your ability to prioritize and manage your time and the one of the team.

  • Excellent presentations skills and able to communicate clearly and concisely and conduct customer presentations/interactions on briefs, technical matters and other issues.

  • Ability to strategize and articulate clear olfactive strategies internally & externally.

  • Ability to work and operate in a multicultural environment
