Delivery Systems Fragrance & Innovation Lead - Your future position?

As the Delivery Systems Fragrance & Innovation Lead at Givaudan, you will report to the Head of Delivery System Fragrance and Business. You will drive the development and industrialization of encapsulated fragrances technologies, working across disciplines and collaborating with internal and external partners including Creation, Commercial, Technology, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams.

 In this exciting role, you will:

• Lead the development of new Delivery System (DS) references, from laboratory synthesis through full-scale industrialization, ensuring alignment with business needs and timelines.
• Manage priorities, resources, and laboratory organization across both liquid and solid technologies.
• Foster a culture of safety and excellence in the laboratory, aiming for zero incidents for the team and visitors.
• Partner with Operations to support and continuously improve existing technologies and production processes.
• Handle customer complaints in alignment with the RACI framework, ensuring high-quality and timely responses.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and technical innovation, driving them with agility and rigor.
• Develop and implement action plans to strengthen technical capabilities and operational performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of chemists and technicians, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

Your professional profile includes:

• PHD / Master Degree
• Chemical Engineer / Chemist with at least 7 years of industrial experience and trouble shooting skills
• Good knowledge of encapsulation polymerisation, formulation, material sciences
• Good communication skills, fluent in English
• Curious and open minded
