Infrastructure Analyst - APAC (1 year contract) - Your future position?

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Infrastructure Analyst to join our team. Assist in managing the IT infrastructure projects and operations, to ensure effective functioning in the area of network & telecommunications, local applications hosting, local hardware and servers, according to business and IT needs.

Main responsibilities:

• IT Infrastructure design and delivery
• Support IT Infrastructure operations for APAC sites
• Coordinate and Support implementation of IT projects
• Document findings, prepare reports and make recommendations
• Collaborate with regional IT and business teams

IT Infrastructure operations

• Server management – physical & virtual servers including Vmware virtualization
• Network management - enterprise-wide LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, IP telephony
• Backup & DR – ensure data backup & recovery procedures are conducted without failure and ensure data security and recovery.
• Manage infrastructure inventories and lifecycle
• Ensure availability and continuity of the the infrastructure services in their scope
• Involved in Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management.
• Escalate recurring or impactful issues to management
• Contribute to resolution of problem following priorities defined by the problem manager
• Propose or recommend IT Infrastructure Services modifications.
• Ensure all technical Documentation is produced and kept up-to-date
• Coordinate and assist in the delivery of relevant DR Tests

Information Security

• Ensure security rules implementation as per organization policies.

Your professional profile includes:

Education / Primary Qualification:

• University degree in relevant field.

Languages:

• Fluent in English. Additional language is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Professional experience:

• 4-10 years of proven work experience as an Infrastructure operations Analyst or similar role

Server management:

• Managing physical & virtual server environments
• Virtualization - Managing VMWare environments
• Windows server OS & patch management etc.
• Local application hosting & support
  
  

Backup & DR:

• Backup & recovery of data using Backup Exec.
• Veeam knowledge is preferred.

Network management -

• WAN - Performance monitoring, troubleshooting and support of WAN & SD-WAN environments.
  LAN – Routing, switching, WiFi & telephony based on Cisco standards.
