Lab Technician (Fragrance) - Your future position?

To support the application lab in preparing application samples used to create winning perfumes.

Reports to: Application Laboratory Manager

Department: Application Laboratory

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing application, market research and stability test samples for neat and in-use evaluation and ensure samples meet quality standards.
  • Support the lab management activities to ensure smooth & efficient lab operations.
  • Participate/ lead in lab projects to support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the company’s Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
  • Ensure good housekeeping.

  • Perfumers
  • Creative Fragrance Managers
  • Sales Managers

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Able to identify opportunity areas & action to completion
  • Have high Emotional Quotient, works well in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Good personal conduct and positive working attitude.
  • Good safety awareness in Chemistry Lab.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma in Perfumery and cosmetics science (preferred but not a must)
  • Diploma or NITEC (or Higher NITEC) in Chemical Process Technology or related field.
  • No colour blindness.
  • No allergy to scent and soap/surfactant based products.
