Material Management Executive - Your future position?

Location: Woodlands, Singapore

Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager

As a Material Management Executive, Taste & Wellbeing with Givaudan, you will support the departments within Givaudan Supply Chain Management Team. In this exciting role, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and also will:

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Review Customer & Affiliate order demand and commit based on material availability to meet service delivery.
  • Handle daily raw material replenishment to support Customer orders and forecast. Review and expedite raw material to support surge in demand.
  • Resolve or escalate issues related to orders, working with production, customer care and regional affiliates.
  • Partner with Demand Planner and Customer care on Forecasting gaps so as to make Customer feel valued with order support.
  • Close collaboration and communication with cross functional partners eg. Manufacturing, Quality and Distribution regarding fulfillment of expedites.
  • Work with Quality and Procurement Team to solve raw material / Packaging issues.
  • Ensure optimum inventory to meet Management Target at Month end and Year end.
  • Accomplish best practices e.g. avoid slow mover and Obsolete due to business loss/change.
  • Review, plan and accomplish phase in and phase out on raw material & formula change.
  • Responsible in dual role Planning, with Finished Goods Planning and Raw Material Planning scope and perform any ad-hoc assignments as part of Continuous Improvement initiative.

Your professional profile includes:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working in logistics or supply chain management
  • Knowledge of logistics and inventory management
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
