Product Lifecycle Specialist - Your future position?

As a Product Lifecycle Specialist, you will manage the ingredients and product life-cycle to align with the set targets of safety, quality, efficiency and cost. You will also have a unique opportunity to work with various department levels in Commercial and Operations to ensure seamless bench to batch commercialization.

Reporting to: Regional Product Lifecycle Manager

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the ingredient and formula portfolios with a "First Time Right" concept and according to established principles
    • Ingredient palette: Support Flavor Creation and Operations teams to enhance ingredient palette harmonization activities and ensure key stakeholders have clear information about ingredient availability
    • Formula management: Ensure timely, efficient and reproducible introduction of formulas. Follow global change control procedures, approval and communication flows
    • Issue management: Manage and coordinate the Ingredient issue management platform to prevent ingredient availability, quality or compliance issues from becoming business disruptions
    • Product specification management: Ensure first-time right and alignment with global policies, including customer specific requirements, in collaboration with the Commercial and Quality teams
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to drive simplicity, improve efficiency and effectiveness in the product lifecycle management process
  • Support cross functional projects and initiatives

 

Main Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Food science
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role; prior experience in the food industry is a plus point
  • Possess understanding of operational principles in data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive effective discussions with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate unclear and complex situations while making effective decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adjust strategies to changing situations and use insights to encourage a culture of improvement
