Intern @Woodlands – Your Future Position?

Working Location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8

Reporting to: Assistant Production Manager

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping
  • Maintain personal hygiene in food industry
  • Carry out process and food products / materials / ingredients monitoring using established procedures
  • Perform proper waste management (Food, Chemicals, etc)
  • Comply with workplace safety and health requirements
  • Operate laboratory / processing / packaging equipment in accordance with established procedures (which could include calibration)
  • Carry out corrective and preventive actions (e.g. inform supervisor when non-conformance is found)
  • Interpret relevant workplace documents (e.g. Work instructions, risk assessment forms, etc)
  • Carry out logging and documentation of findings, observation, data, inventory level, etc

 

At the end of the industrial attachment, interns will be able to:

  • Familiarize with Food Safety (HACCP)
  • Acquire knowledge on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Acquire knowledge on Lean and Quality Programs (5S, White Belt, Engrained Quality (Right First Time)
