Planning Executive (1 Year Contract) - Your future position?

Location: Singapore, Pioneer

 

As a Planning Executive, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and ordering of raw materials used in the manufacturing facility to achieve and maintain KPI targets (PIR/ golden rules/ best practices, SLOB, etc.).

 

Main Responsibilities

1- Strategy design and execution
•    Provide mid to long term forecast to procurement 
•    Provide monthly forecast to local vendor to plan and optimize the related inventory


2 - Project management
•    Identify and implement opportunities for improvement •    Communicate and interact with relevant departments and business partners in order to solve issues


3 - Subject matter expertise
•    Identify upsurge and resolve shortages through efficient scheduling to ensure an appropriate level of inventory following corporate standards •    Ensure customer (internal and external) response on time managing realistic daily plans considering capacity and raw material availability (MRP)
•    Achieve and maintain service level, inventory targets
•    Obsolescence control (use of SLOB tool for inventory at risk assessment)
•    Resolve or escalate issues related to orders, working with production, quality, customer care and regional and global affiliates as required
•    Work with STP to resolve vendor issues
•    Produce daily, weekly, and monthly status reports (e.g. COOISPI schedule, OTS, past due purchase orders) and distribute
•    Evaluate and validate material requirements and release PR, optimize inventory level
•    Monitor MRP exception messages
•    Manage supply issues: request substitution of raw materials, request QC conditional acceptance and pursue other site-based, spot buy options
•    Promise orders for resale/redistribution of RM/ingredients and trading items. Monitor and follow up forecast and actual orders
•    Support production transfers
•    Support mass replacement of RM/ ingredients
•    Support compliance management of controlled substances (Halal, HSTA)
•    Handle short-term enquiries from customers/ sales
•    Call-off bulk/ packaging (Release PR and Auto PO or trigger delivery based on blanket PO/ VMI)
•    Lead and facilitate monthly material review board meeting.
•    Quality System Compliance - Maintain and support all site activities according to accreditation standards in the scope of the QMS [ISO 9001 & Halal]

 

Education/ primary qualification:

•    Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Foreign Trade or equivalent
•    Languages: Fluent in English
•    Professional experience: 1+ years of experience in planning of equivalent capacity  

Required skills:

•    APICS certification desired
•    ERP/MRP expertise
•    Strong affinity to systems and analytical tools (Desired SAP, BI, BO) •    Microsoft Office Suite expertise
