Regional Demand Head - Your future position?

As a Regional Demand Head, you will lead the Demand Planning and Customer Care operations and processes at a regional level. Ensure improvement in Customer experience. In collaboration with commercial leads, oversee the development and performance of the market demand forecasts. 

 

Location: Pioneer, Singapore

Reporting to: Regional Supply Chain Manager, APAC

 

Main Responsibilities

1- Strategy design and execution

  • Provide key Customer Care and Demand Planning inputs to the Regional Operations business plans and participate in the design of the regional Supply Chain strategy as well as definition of related objectives based on input provided by other regional functions
  • Roll-out of the Customer Care and Demand Planning strategy within the region
  • Contribute to the design and execution of tactical and operational plans and policies to meet regional Supply Chain objectives

 

2 - Project management

  • Be the voice of the customer in improvement projects
  • Coordinate management of new, promoted and discontinued products/ business with sales and sites
  • Actively participate and allocate resources to Regional Supply Chain Management projects
  • Implement changes triggered by Regional Supply Chain Management projects in region
  • Coordinate idea generation to project process for the regional demand organization

 

3 - Subject matter expertise

  • Provide direction on Customer Care and Demand Planning activities in the Markets
  • Identify requirements and capabilities of major customers together with sales team 
  • Define the guidelines, together with sales and regional supply chain, for order escalation 
  • Help prioritizing escalated customer care cases and support (and empower) control tower in solving these cases
  • Oversee the development and performance of the market demand forecasts
  • Participate in executive S&OP meetings
  • Identify and drive projects to improve forecast performance
  • Use performance management to actively improve processes, suggesting actions/ projects/ programs 

 

4 - People management

  • Strong people management skills with solid experience driving team in a multicultural background
  • Coordinate and review human resources processes within the Demand Planning and Customer Care Front Office teams at Market level 
  • Develop a regional talent pipeline and drive the development and promotion of Customer Care and Demand Planning talents together with GBS delivery center and HR Business Partner(s)

 

Education/ primary qualification:

  • Diploma: Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline
  • Languages: Fluency in English, other languages a plus

 

Professional experience:

  • 8 years of experience in Supply Chain with strong background in quality and/or materials management
  • 4 years of experience in people management

 

Required skills:

  • Solid SAP and Excel knowledge
  • Green Belt/ Black Belt certified Demonstrate strong learning agility
  • Strong knowledge on new technologies and automation
  • Certified CSCP/CPIM preferred or cross supply chain knowledge managing demand, supply/MRP Planning and transportation
