Regional Marketing & Technical Support Manager

Regional Marketing and Technical Support Manager - Your future position?

The Regional Marketing and Technical Support Manager Active Beauty APAC will report to Global Marketing Manager Active Beauty; working closely with Regional Sales, and Clients to promote and implement Active Beauty in the region and being the conduit with Global Marketing and R&D. In this exciting role you will:

 

  • Be the expert on the cosmetics market and brands in the region,  building knowledge of customer and competitor activity and feeding back to the global marketing and category managers

 

  • Support for the regional sales team, sharing knowledge of the market trends and Active Beauty portfolio across all categories and making presentations according to the needs of local and regional customers

 

  • Provide technical support for the regional sales team, answering technical questions related to the portfolio, with support from the global R&D team.  Help to translate the technical needs of customers into concrete and deliverable opportunities with the sales team.

 

  • In collaboration with regional sales, customise Global Launch Packages and Communications to make them regionally relevant

 

  • Manage local events (seminars and events) in line with guidelines from global marketing.  Maintain and build relationships with key clients.

 

  • Manage local marketing samples, literature and promotional materials

 

  • Execute Active Beauty brand guidelines and ensure all Marketing activity is consistent with  branding and positioning as well as the Givaudan brand

 

  • Clearly communicate the key technology needs of the clients within the region to ensure that the global R&D function has a clear set of prioritized objectives within a realistic timeframe

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferable in scientific discipline relevant to cosmetic ingredients
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B or B2C marketing or technical support in cosmetic ingredients or related industry
  • International experience within Asia will be a plus
  • Experience of working in a matrix environment
  • Solid technical understanding of cosmetic ingredients and skin biology
  • Presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to convey information in an engaging way
  • Creative Approach
  • Fluency in English language
  • Experience of working in a multinational environment
  • Action oriented with highly efficient priority setting
