Powder Supervisor - Your future position?

As an important member of the Taste and Wellbeing Operations team, reporting to the Production Manager, the Powder Supervisor has the responsibility of production of all of the site's Powder production, respecting our requirements on hygiene, product security, workers hygiene, worker safety and waste.

In this challenging role you will:

• Manage production of the assigned Department under the direct authority of the day Production Supervisor or Production Manager; assure production is performed in quantity, time, quality (weight, presentation of packaging, sampling, self checks), and productivity; in respect with cGMPs and product safety requirements; in respect with workers hygiene and safety at work rules, and environment requirements.
• Lead the department employees, increasing their effectiveness creating a positive and productive work environment.
• Validate PO's (part preparation versus part instruction, yield) and assure that production documents are completed correctly and completely (WO, weights, self checks), before transmitting them to the process engineer.
• Assure that CGMP's and Product Safety; hygiene and safety at work; and waste internal procedures are strictly followed by its employees.
• Provide trainings and delegate's instructions to all department employees based on company policies, product specifications and compliance with cGMP. Assure that CGMP's and Product Safety self checks are performed correctly and registered on appropriate forms (CCPs, cleaning logs).

You?

• 3+ Years of Experience with Team Management;
• Bilingual - English and Spanish;
• Experience working with SAP required;
• Competences in the process and equipment's of Spray Drying, batch making, mixing and dryer operations (you must know how they run and do some first level maintenance if required);
• Industry experience is valued;
• Knowledge of GMP, Lean and Continuous Improvement is differential;
• Willing to work a Night Shift with a floating schedule.
