Supply Chain Team Lead - Your future position?

Be the central link between the customer, Supply Chain & Operations, Sales Team, Manufacturing supply plant, GBS and external warehouse with logistics service provider to ensure client's requirements are met in the most efficient and cost-effective way. Build strong relationship with customer, act as the voice of the customer within Givaudan and manage the sales order process through to shipment for assigned custom-ers and distributors.

In this exciting role, you will report to the Regional Supply Chain Manager, APAC and your main responsibilities include:

Strategy design and execution

  • Contribute to and implement Customer Care, Demand & Supply strategy aligned with the Opera-tions Roadmap

Project management

  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvements in Customer Care, Supply management & Distribution
  • Lead or participate in projects when relevant and/or allocate resources

Subject matter expertise

  • Lead and manage the local Supply Chain team
  • Manage customer and sales expectations and build strong relationship
  • Ensure implementation of global guidelines for sales order management including pricing, master data maintenance, supply chain, quality & safety.
  • Support local team for escalation of problem resolution, complaints, inquiries and prioritization issues together with the Customer Care Support Office, Replenishment Planner, Supply Team in manufacturing sites, Credit Management and relevant folks at GBS office
  • Monitor performance and workload to maintain balance in department
  • Update and maintain accurate customer records, including customer specific information, con-tracts,
  • labelling, packaging and stock requirements
  • Monitor customer service levels in close collaboration with supply chain, sales and other depart-ments
  • Validate and ensure implementation of global and local customer contracts including consign-ment, inventory agreements, Free Trade Agreements while adhering to global guidelines
  • Develop and manage annual budget where required
  • Manage order process to meet or exceed sales targets and financial goals
  • Propose and drive processes and organization optimization for more efficiency and reduced cost
  • Update and maintain ISO documentation where necessary
  • Monitor Customer Care, Inventory, Quality & Cost KPIs for the supply chain organisation
  • Collaborate with demand planning on information relating to planning and inventory position
  • Proactively collect customer & sales forecast and enter into IBP tool
  • Organize and chair demand planning review with Sales and regional team
  • Monitor the New Customer/product processes
  • Actively work with the team on customer intimacy and delivering superior customer experience
  • Participate to Customer visits and presentations when required
  • For DC, manage the end to end distribution process for domestic customers
  • Ensure inventory and Aged stock management to prevent wastage and discard
  • Ensure trade compliance with authority and service providers on custom clearance

People management

  • Recruit, train, coach and performance manage local supply chain team
  • Identify high profiles within the local team to develop

Your professional profile includes:

  • We are unable to sponsor a work visa for this role. Applicants must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia to be considered for the role.
  • 10 years of experience in end to end supply chain
  • People management experience
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Proven Success in Customer Relationship Management
  • Knowledge of SAP and experience with order fulfillment, supply planning & distribution
  • Basic Inventory Management knowledge
  • Microsoft Office Expertise
  • Basic negotiation skills
