EDM Manager  - Your future position?

As an EDM Manager in our Budapest site you will support the EDM strategy execution by overseeing and continuously developing the Master Data related activities in the assigned region. You will manages and develops a team of Data Administrators and Data Analysts, ensure customer satisfaction and consistent high quality level of service delivery and represent the EDM organization in the Region and in the Delivery Center (KL and BA).

 

Main responsibilities:

 

Team Management

Manage and monitor the performance of large teams of Data Administrators and Data Analysts on regional scale
Hires team members and Team Leaders
Provide professional support for the team: coach team members, set goals, evaluate skill development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed, being involved in talent management and succession planning
Take relevant actions (termination, performance improvement plan) in case of escalated performance issues
Responsible for salary review and promotions
Creates strong morale and spirit in the team
Supports the set-up and supervise the EDM Data/Inforamtion Management team, responsible for aligning the organizational set-up based on priorities, objectives and resource needs

 

Stakeholder management

Builds constructive and effective relationships with EDM Teams and site teams (as listed in contacts) and cross-functional GBS teams
Promote EDM services and represent EDM organization in the region
Act as an escalation point for process related activities regionally
Promote value generated by the team

 

Timely Execution & Data quality

Ensures that direct reports are contributing to data quality and timely execution of Master Data/Information Management activities
Set expectations based on the global SLA on single data entries, mass extractions, mass updates of the different master data families, and/or information management activities
Takes actions in case service level is not reached

 

Process improvement

Provide input for process improvement opportunities and drive implementation in alignment with the other Delivery Centres and GSC’s, and ensures good progress on the projects as per plan
Promote best practices on Master Data and/or Information Management activities amongst team in order to allowContinuous Improvement and Idea management, Fruitful Functional interaction with the related EDM teams

 

People, collaboration

Adherence to policies and procedures
Ad hoc tasks assigned by the Line Manager
Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone or via email

 

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree preferably in business administration or economics
  • Fluent English level
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Master Data Management or any related field
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • SAP ERP knowledge is a plus
