Sales Manager - Your next position?

As a Sales Manager, you will represent Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing in Osaki, Japan in assigned sub-regional account management and team development. You will have P&L responsibility, business/function leadership and people development responsibilities for this area. You will directly report to the Sales Director of Taste & Wellbeing Japan.

You will:

  • Manage Sales Team with full account and business management responsibility to protect and grow assets for designated account(s) within the country, segment or category
  • Develop ADPs to increase sales growth and profitability for main accounts with greatest potential
  • Develop partnerships with main accounts, including relationships with senior level management
  • Manage all pricing negotiations and activities within the country, segment, category, or specific geographic area
  • Monitor market and sales within the region, taking corrective actions to ensure sales goals are achieved
  • Manage projects with FC&A, Marketing, and Ops

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree
  • 6-8 years successful sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in food, beverage or related industry
  • Experience delivering profitable sales growth above industry levels
  • Work collaboratively across multiple cultures, functions and levels within the organization to coordinate activities with an assigned global customer
  • Leadership through informal organization reporting structure
  • Strategic Account Development Planning
  • Knowledge of customer's strategies
  • Negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of customer(s), strategies, initiatives, commercial needs and product launch processes
  • Knowledge of competitor activity
