Purpose:

Direct site controlling activities for all responsibilities present on sites (House of Naturals sites in France, Spain and of our Argenteuil site close to Paris).

Support the business controlling network by supplying local information.

Provide business support to the local operations Manager to and compliance.

 

Be a member of the Site Operations Management Team ensuring:

• Full finance integration into operations

• Support and achieve process improvement plans at a site level

• Active involvement and challenge of decisions

You will report to the Global Operations Controller Fragrance & Beauty.

You will be based in Vallauris.

 

Main Responsibilities:

· Business Partnering: Make sure that the local Operations team is aware of all the risk and opportunities of Operations, propose mitigation actions and ensure the execution of these actions after agreement.

 

· Business Insight: provide local Operations Management with interpretive and predictive operational and financial information on which to make decisions. Perform ad-hoc and proactive analyses of the region’s monthly Indicators and provide Operational Management with the performance insight.

 

· Investments: guide the investment process within the sites, including validation of the business cases, ensure approval and following up on performed investments to stay within scope and budget.

 

· Budget Cycle. Lead the annual operations budget process across the sites, following global guidance and following the regional business plan. This includes the annual standard product costing and being the interface with the Pricing organization related to costing.

 

· Support of the Global Operations controller: Support the Global Operation controller to perform ad hoc tasks and analysis on Operations.

 

Academic Background:

· Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or professional accountancy qualification

· 5+ years of experience in cost accounting/operations controlling in a manufacturing environment

 

Required Profile & Competencies:

· Fluent in French and English

· SAP FI/CO

· Working knowledge of costing procedures

· Project Management
