As an EHS Specialist (m/w/d), you will directly report to our EHS Director and you will join our EHS Fragrances Department in Vernier (Switzerland). You will be part of a team of 4 EHS Specialists, and you will support the EHS Director on her daily job and specifically on one or more EHS specializations. You will also promote the EHS culture across the organization.
In this exciting role you will :
- Be main contact for specific Departments and act as back-up for others Departments.
- Be the back-up of the EHS Director during her absences.
- Be customer-oriented with the desire of finding solutions with main partners when EHS issues are detected. Seek experts help if necessary.
- Organize regular site safety inspections with department/area owners; report findings and follow up their correction and prevention.
- Perform incident investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented.
- Help on risk assessments and providing solutions to minimize risks.
- Assume the role of EHS Coordinator in the Crisis Management organisation.
- Follow up all audits findings, and evaluate the effectiveness of their corrective and preventive actions.
- Help on organizing site EHS committee meetings and following up all actions agreed in it.
- Keep good/regular liaisons with authorities related to Environment, Health and Safety; report to the EHS Director any clue of authority concerns.
- Conduct EHS Orientation training to new employees and contractors.
- Facilitate tool box meetings and deliver other EHS trainings.
- Help the development of EHS procedures and track their implementation.

Your success profile includes:
- University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, EHS, or other related field
- Swiss Diploma “Ingénieur sécurité MSST” is a must
- "Chargé de sécurité incendie" is a plus
- At least 3 years of working experience in chemical/manufacturing industry
- 5+ years of experience in the EHS specialisation
- Fluent in French and knowledge of English
