Industrialization Trainee

Your Next role?

 

As an Industrialization trainee, you will join the process development team in Vernier and you will apply your knowledge and skills acquired from coursework and research to help improving scale-up and tech transfer processes.

 

In this exciting challenge, your main responsibilities will be the following:

 

You will be in charge of creating a database to characterize production equipment. You will perform chemical engineering simulations (mixing, heat transfer…) and propose process improvements based on your knowledge and on the simulation results. You will check and compare results at different scales (lab, pilot, production). You will elaborate working instructions and procedural documents.

This internship will allow you to apply your knowledge in chemical and process engineering and become familiar with the fragrance and flavour industry.

 

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • Bachelor degree or Master degree student in chemical engineering or relevant discipline
  • Knowledge in chemical and process engineering (process development)
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Experience with simulation software is an advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project management
  • Independent
  • Strong desire to learn/scientific curiosity
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
