Engineering and Maintenance Manager
In this new role, as part of our organisational and cultural change you will plan and manage the inspection and maintenance of facilities, related infrastructure, electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as production machinery to ensure that the site runs operations without undesired disruptions and at optimal capacity level.
We are looking for two Engineering and Maintenance Managers who will act as trusted partners with our two production plants, Ingredients and Compounding. You will be located in Vernier and directly report to the Site Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
You will be responsible for:
Strategy execution
- Support the local Operations business plan and strategy execution production capacity, schedule of critical maintenance activities, changes in equipment, spare parts inventory, etc.
Function management
- Apply preventive maintenance plans and continuous maintenance support to optimize availability and reliability of plant equipment and prevent business disruption
- Define budgets based on maintenance requirements i.e. resources, materials, duration, etc.
- Conduct audits/inspections to ensure compliance of installations, equipment as well as users with EHS and QM policies
- Identify, recommend and deploy improvements whether to correct non-compliant situations or optimize productivity
- Manage spare parts inventory to optimize stock and dispose of obsolete materials
- Provide support to engineering projects in terms of operative procedures and equipment/installation trials
People management
- Lead a team of maintenance specialists which executes maintenance activities, typically for a small/medium site
- Drive the development and promotion of talents within and outside the function
You?
- University degree equivalence in Engineering or related discipline
- 7+ years in manufacturing or plant operations
- 5+ years people management experience
- Fluent French and conversational level English language skills
- Proven track record in industrialization and engineering projects including building, process installation, and utilities, from the design stage to hand-over
- Project and change management experience
- Knowledge of TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and project controlling tools
- Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines
