Raw Material and Production Planner – Ingredients

Your future position?

 

As a Raw Material and Production Planner in our Planning department, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Ingredients manufactured in several production sites and you will also manage raw materials for our manufacturing plant of Vernier while optimizing inventory and service levels.

Reporting to the Fragrance Ingredients Planning Team lead, your main responsibilities will be the following:


- Manufactured ingredients management (Fragrance, Active beauty and Cosmetic ingredients, Delivery System)


You will be in charge of ensuring the continuous availability of our manufactured Ingredients for both our internal use and external clients. To ensure a continuous availability of materials, and a high level of stocks, you will collaborate closely with our scheduling team, and other key Departments such as Ingredients Production, Quality, Customer Care, Logistic, Global Planning, Procurement, and Fragrance Ingredients Business (FIB).
You will also manage a manufactured Ingredients portfolio, to ensure supplies for our Compounding Production site at Vernier - CH, as well as our other Compounding Production sites all round the world. Also you will be responsible for stock transfer orders dedicate to FIB customers.
In this ”Make to stock” environment, you might need to perform global allocations if the situation requires it. Part of our portfolio is under VMI management and is necessary to ensure supplies of our Givaudan’s subsidiaries around the world.


- Raw Material management


You will ensure the continuous availability of raw materials required for the Production, in accordance with production schedules, and with the aim of securing and optimizing the production plan. Our portfolio includes several types of supply management such as: bulk, VMI, subcontracted materials, multipack management. 
Solving and escalating issues related to your portfolio will be part of your job.

Your professional profile includes:

 

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, etc…;
  • Min. 2 years of experience in supply chain
  • Fluent in English / French
  • Strong knowledgeswith systems and analytical tools (Desired SAP, BI, BOA)
  • Microsoft Office Suite expertise
  • APICS certification an asset
  • Open minded, Curious, Customer focused
  • Stress resilience
  • Flexible and agile
