The Givaudan Foundation is a non-profit organisation created by the Company in 2013 as an independent yet linked philanthropic entity. The Foundation currently provides long-term funding and expertise to more than 50 partners worldwide, with a mission to make a difference within the communities where Givaudan sources and operates, focusing on livelihood, wellbeing and natural resources preservation. The Foundation also works in interaction with the employees and volunteers leveraging their expertise and network whenever it helps advance the impact of its activities.
Senior Coordinator-Givaudan Foundation - Your future role?
For an 8 months maternity leave cover and reporting to the Foundation Director, the Foundation Senior Coordinator coordinates a portfolio of projects in the fields of livelihood, wellbeing and natural resources preservation, and activities related to communication and administration of the Foundation. The Senior Coordinator is an important contributor to the Givaudan Foundation’s ambition to ensure an inclusive and sustainable prosperity in communities where Givaudan sources and operates.
As part of the role, the Foundation Senior Coordinator is also in charge of co-developing and coordinating the Givaudan employee volunteering programme, contributing to the Purpose Communities’ ambition to improve lives of millions of people where Givaudan sources and operates by 2030.
You will be based in Vernier, Switzerland (flexible location for internal candidates within Europe).
In this exciting role, your main responsibilities will be:
Project management:

Co-develop employee-driven projects across all regions in collaboration with Givaudan sites and external partner organizations. You will identify and assess project proposals based on the Givaudan Foundation’s criteria, and support both employees and partners in setting project goals, activities, and implementing plans that align with the Foundation’s area of intervention while ensuring the appropriate budget

Present grant summaries and funding recommendations to the Foundation’s selection Committee

Oversee around 30 projects throughout their lifecycle including due diligence on partner organizations, contract management, funding, monitoring, and reporting. Provide ongoing support and advice to both employee project teams and external partner organizations

Work with employees and partner organizations to identify opportunities for project extensions, based on the evolving needs of beneficiaries
Communication:
Implement the Foundation’s communication plan in collaboration with different stakeholders, including:

Create the annual activity report in partnership with a graphic designer and copywriter (content and layout).

Manage content and layout for the Foundation’s website with technical support from the IT team.

Oversee the Foundation’s communications on Givaudan’s intranet, including writing articles.

Coordinate external social media posts in collaboration with the Corporate Communication department.

Maintain visual content of the Foundation (video, photos, testimonials): collection, selection, sharing with stakeholders, renewal
Administrative Support:

Maintain the Foundation’s project management tool (project data, metrics, financial follow-up) in collaboration with the Foundation Senior Programme Manager

Support the Foundation Director with financial follow-up and contracting process
Your professional profile includes:

Bachelor Degree in Business administration, preferred economics & international relations or HR, or in a field related to Corporate Social Responsibility

Minimum 5 years of experience in the private sector in Sustainability, CSR or HR roles

Experience with Corporate Social Responsibilities or employee volunteering an asset

Excellent written and spoken French and English; Spanish or Portuguese an asset

Ability to meet deadlines and delivering tasks on a timely manner

Ability to communicate written and verbally at all levels and internationally with diverse cultures

Competent in using IT tools and basic picture/video editing software
