Sustainability Excellence Manager (Europe)

Your future position?

 

As a Sustainability Excellence Manager your overall mission will be to create and execute digital roadmap in coordination with the Global Sustainability extended team, drive adoption of best practices and systems, and also define Sustainability control framework. Under Leadership of the Head of Procurement Excellence you will drive the Sustainability digital solutions evolution and focus on simplification of end-to-end data management, processes and systems. You will report to the Head of Procurement Excellence.

 

The location of this role is flexible within Europe. The preference from our side would be: Vernier (Switzerland), Budapest (Hungary), Naarden (Netherlands). 

 

You will:

  • Support the digital transformation

  • Ensure a close coordination with Sustainability and Procurement organizations

  • Work with the Sustainability digital project leaders to ensure coherence and integration across all Sustainability digital solutions

  • Design an onboarding & training program on Sustainability processes, solutions and data

  • Define and implement the governance for data/process/system issues and questions for Sustainability (i.e. escalations path)

  • Own the relevant process and sustainability data management documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and shared within knowledge management

  • Drive adoption of best ways of working and conduct change management related to the implementation of Sustainability processes, solutions and data management

  • Promote simplification and harmonization across the organization

  • Monitor data integrity

 

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree required

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain (logistics, planning, raw material procurement)

  • Knowledge of relevant procurement & sustainability processes and systems

  • Change management and implementation experience

  • Proficiency in English

  • Good understanding of business needs and ability to engage with stakeholders at different levels and with different functions

  • Engagement with partners at different levels and with different functions

  • Continuous Improvement mindset and ability to challenge current state.
